| UFA Inc. chose AT&T Natural Voices for their ATVoice™ product. ATVoice™ is a robust voice control system allowing the user to control the simulation system through voice commands. Used in the ATCoach environment, ATVoice™ can often take the place of pseudo pilot simulation control by accepting and implementing controller voice commands as well as generating the appropriate "pilot" responses to these commands. ATVoice™ is based on the GTE/BBN HARK voice recognition system, a continuous, speaker independent system that does not require each user to "train" the system in order to have it recognize his or her own voice. In addition to its use in ATCoach™ installations, ATVoice has also been used in other ATC and military simulation applications. In addition, several international ATVoice™ applications have been tuned to support a variety of accents and dialects including Cantonese, Danish and Australian. |
