MRCP v2 Server (Optional Feature for AT&T Natural Voices Server)

Wizzard MRCP v2 Server (Media Resource Control Program) provides a standard interface to AT&T Natural Voices TTS Server resources. The key benefit is to provide customers with greater flexibility by allowing interoperability of media resources. This reduces the work required to support multiple speech resources and provides for easier deployment and scalability.

MRCP provides access to the TTS resources via a network protocol rather than through APIs. Version 2 of MRCP is a new standard IETF protocol which facilitates communication between the MRCP v2 Server and clients using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Session Descriptor Protocol (SDP). It simplifies the implementation of speech resources in VoiceXML and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) environments.
