Media Semantics, located in Bellevue, Washington, has licensed text-to-speech from Wizzard to use in many of their applications. This includes their flagship Character Toolkit that lets non-animators choose from a variety of cartoon and realistic characters and then create presentations for delivery on virtually any platform via the Macromedia Flash SWF format. The Toolkit supports the AT&T Natural Voices® TTS engine as a means of rapidly creating a high-quality sound track that remains consistent as material is added and updated. Media Semantics also provides a Character Server product that allows a web server produce character presentation streams on demand of dynamic information such as news and weather, results from database and web-service queries or data input from end-users.
