IBM ViaVoice Desktop Text to Speech (TTS) for Windows and Linux

IBM ViaVoice Text-To-Speech (TTS) technology uses the latest in linguistic technologies to synthesize speech. This is a sophisticated, completely computer generated technology that goes through several linguistic stages to create highly intelligible speech output. It uses a synthesizer to generate the final sounds that you hear, thus producing a clear, flexible output with less system resources. An almost unlimited number of voices are available simply by modifying gender, pitch, head size, roughness, etc. all on the fly. Available in multiple languages, this technology is actively used in applications (such as ATMs) where small footprint, minimal resources and maximum output flexibility are required.
